Export an MP4
Render the active sequence as a review or delivery-ready video.
Export an MP4 when you need one playable video rather than an editable post-production package. Martini renders the active sequence with its current clip order, trim points, visible video tracks, and audio tracks that are not muted.
Prepare the sequence
- Play the active sequence from beginning to end and check every edit.
- Confirm that the sequence frame matches the intended delivery. If it contains nested sequences, make sure their frame formats are compatible.
- Hide any video track and mute any audio track you do not want in the file. Solo changes timeline playback, but it does not determine which audio tracks are exported.
Export the video
- Open Export in the timeline toolbar and choose Export MP4, or press Command M.
- Choose Sequence to preserve the sequence frame, or select a YouTube, Short-form, Square, or Feed destination.
- Choose 1080p or 4K. Select Fit to show the full source frame with black space where needed, or Fill to use a centered crop that covers the output.
- Review the framing preview and output dimensions, then select Export MP4.
Martini renders an H.264 MP4 in the background and notifies you when the download is ready. A high-quality render commonly takes two to three times the sequence duration. The maximum sequence length for this export is 30 minutes.
Use the downloaded MP4 for review, presentation, or direct delivery. If the next step is color, sound, or VFX finishing in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, export XML instead.
